Post to TikTok with Grok
Grok Imagine can make the clip. Grok can't post it. WoopSocial's connector lets Grok publish and schedule TikTok videos in plain language, with the AI-content label set correctly and no Direct Post audit.

Grok Makes TikToks. It Can't Publish Them.
Grok's connector shelf covers Gmail, Drive, Outlook, Notion, Salesforce and similar productivity tools. The only social connector anywhere on it is X Ads, for ad campaigns. No TikTok connector, or any other social publishing connector at all.
This brings us to this odd gap when you actually do use Grok for video. Grok Imagine can produce a short video in the same conversation where you wrote it, the actual production work is done entirely within the platform. Then Grok hands you a finished file, and you're the one uploading it to TikTok yourself.
Doing that connection yourself is trickier than it seems, and TikTok is the trickiest platform in the entire series to do yourself. The Direct Post audit is another that takes weeks to load on top of the normal developer signup, and that leaves every post you put out to SELF_ONLY (meaning nobody but yourself can even see it) with a hard cap of 5 users who can even authorize your app per 24 hours (in which case, all those users' accounts must be private). Uploading is asynchronous, you start a request, TikTok fetches the file from your server and you check in with it to check status. There are no webhooks and no notifications - so you're writing that polling logic yourself from scratch. Access tokens expire every 24 hours, the shortest lifespan of any platform, a refresh token lasts a year but the constant short-lived token churn is what you're actually dealing with day to day. And every post has a list of mandatory fields - leave one blank and it's rejected immediately, no partials to even fall back on. Our TikTok API Alternative guide and How to Get TikTok API Access cover the full picture.
WoopSocial Is Grok's TikTok Connector
WoopSocial is already an audited TikTok Content Posting client, so you skip the Direct Post audit entirely, no weeks-long review, no SELF_ONLY sandbox to sit in while you wait.
The AI-label point matters most here, so it's worth leading with: if Grok Imagine made the video, that video is AI-generated content, and TikTok requires a declaration on posts like it. WoopSocial exposes isAiGeneratedContent as a normal field on the request, so a Grok-made content goes out labelled correctly from the start.
Also handled behind the same connector: privacy level, comment, duet and stitch settings, branded-content disclosure, a custom cover image, and a draft-to-inbox mode for anything you'd rather review on your phone before it goes live - very useful when you want to add a trending sound TikTok's API can't attach for you. Your Grok agent never holds your TikTok login, either. It only ever holds your WoopSocial API key, WoopSocial resolves the actual TikTok credentials on its own side.
Connect Grok to TikTok in 3 Steps
Step 1: Get your WoopSocial API key
Free, about 70 seconds. Connect your TikTok account inside the WoopSocial dashboard while you're there.
Step 2: Add WoopSocial in Grok
Go to grok.com/connectors, New Connector, then Custom. Name it WoopSocial, enter the server URL https://api.woopsocial.com/mcp, and complete the authorization prompt Grok shows you.
Step 3: Tell Grok to post
"Make a short vertical clip of this with Grok Imagine, then post it to TikTok as public and mark it AI-generated."
If you're using Grok Bot, the path is slightly different - Setting, Plugins, add a custom connector, with the server URL and auth header that has the Woop Social API key in it, not the OAuth flow web uses. Both of these surfaces end up creating the same WoopSocial connection, so the fields and behavior below are identical regardless of which one you set it up through.
TikTok Posts, in Plain Language
Once it's connected, this is genuinely how you'll talk to it:
- "Post this video to TikTok, public, and mark it AI-generated"
- "Send it to my TikTok inbox as a draft so I can add a sound" (worth noting: trending sounds can't be attached through the API at all, this is the workaround)
- "Turn off duets and stitches on this one"
- "Post this photo carousel and let TikTok add music"
- "Schedule this for Friday at 7pm"
Each of those maps to a real field the connector sends, privacyLevel, isAiGeneratedContent, postMode: MEDIA_UPLOAD for the draft-to-inbox request, postType: PHOTO and autoAddMusic for the carousel.
One Clip, Three Platforms
The same request can send that Grok Imagine clip to TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts at once, with different captions for each. Write it, generate it, post it everywhere, without switching tools between any of those steps.
Pricing is flat and predictable: free to start, $19/month for Pro, scaling to $49 for Business and $799 for Max, with API and MCP access included on every tier, free included. WoopSocial keeps its TikTok audit current, so TikTok's API changes are its problem to track, not yours.

FAQ
Can Grok post to TikTok?
Not directly. Grok Connectors cover productivity tools like Gmail and Drive, not social networks (X Ads is the sole social entry). Adding WoopSocial as a custom connector is what closes the gap.
Do Grok Imagine videos need an AI label on TikTok?
Yes. Anything created on Grok Imagine is AI generated content and TikTok requires you to state that on the post. WoopSocial sets isAiGeneratedContent as part of the request so a Grok-made clip is marked automatically .
Do I need TikTok's API audit?
No. WoopSocial is already an audited TikTok Content Posting client so your posts go live immediately (no long review process and the SELF_ONLY sandbox that sits in front of it).
Can Grok schedule TikTok posts?
Yes. WoopSocial schedules natively, publish now, schedule for later, or save as a draft, so Grok can queue TikTok content instead of posting one clip at a time.
