Your Account & Responsibilities

Creating Your Account

When you sign up, please give us accurate information. You'll need:

  • A valid email address (this is how we'll communicate with you)
  • A secure password (please make it a good one!)
  • To be at least 13 years old (sorry kids, legal requirements!)

Keeping Your Account Safe

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Here's how to do that:

  • Don't share your password with anyone (not even us - we'll never ask for it!)
  • Log out from shared computers
  • Let us know immediately if you think someone else is using your account
  • Keep your contact information up to date

Connecting Your Social Media Accounts

To post content for you, we need to connect to your social media accounts. Here's what happens:

What We Can Do

  • Post content on your behalf when you schedule it
  • Retrieve analytics and performance data for your posts
  • Access your profile information (like follower count)
  • Read your existing posts to provide better insights

What We Won't Do

  • Post anything you didn't create or schedule
  • Change your profile information without your permission
  • Interact with other users' content on your behalf
  • Access your private messages or DMs

You can disconnect any social media account at any time through your WoopSocial settings or directly through the social media platform.

Content Guidelines - Let's Keep It Awesome

We want WoopSocial to be a positive space for everyone. When using our platform, please make sure your content:

  • Your original content and ideas
  • Content you have permission to share
  • Professional and personal posts that follow platform guidelines
  • Creative, educational, or entertaining material
  • Content that complies with all applicable laws

❌ What's Not Cool

  • Spam or misleading content
  • Hate speech, harassment, or bullying
  • Content that violates others' intellectual property
  • Illegal activities or content
  • Malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Content that violates the terms of the social media platforms

Remember, even though we help you post it, you're still responsible for your content. Make sure it follows the rules of each social media platform too!

Our Plans

  • Free Plan: 15 posts per month - perfect for getting started!
  • Pro Plan: Unlimited posts plus advanced features

Billing

Here's how billing works:

  • Free Plan users pay nothing (obviously!)
  • Pro Plan is billed monthly or annually (you choose)
  • We'll always tell you about price changes at least 30 days in advance
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime
  • Refunds are available within 14 days if you're not happy

Service Availability

We work hard to keep WoopSocial running smoothly 24/7, but sometimes things happen:

Planned Maintenance

Occasionally, we need to update our systems. When we do planned maintenance, we'll:

  • Schedule it during low-usage times
  • Keep downtime as short as possible
  • Update you on our status page

Unexpected Issues

If something breaks unexpectedly (hey, we're human!), we'll:

  • Fix it as quickly as possible
  • Keep you updated on our progress
  • Learn from it to prevent future issues

While we can't guarantee 100% uptime (nobody can!), we're committed to being reliable and transparent about any issues.

Intellectual Property - Respecting Everyone's Work

Your Content

Your content belongs to you! When you use WoopSocial:

  • You keep all rights to your content
  • You give us permission to store and post it for you
  • You can delete your content anytime
  • We won't use your content for anything other than providing our service

Our Stuff

WoopSocial's platform, features, and branding belong to us. Please don't:

  • Copy or reverse engineer our service
  • Use our branding without permission
  • Create competing services using our technology

Respecting Others

Please make sure you have the right to use any content you post. If someone says you're using their content without permission, we might need to remove it while we sort things out.

Your Privacy Matters

We take your privacy seriously. Here's the quick version:

  • We never sell your personal information

⚠️ Important: While we work hard to prevent issues, we can't be responsible for things outside our control, like social media platform outages or changes to their APIs.

If Things Don't Work Out

We hope you'll love using WoopSocial, but we understand if it's not the right fit.

You Can Leave Anytime

  • Cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings
  • Download your content before you go
  • We'll be sad to see you go, but no hard feelings!

When We Might End the Relationship

We might need to suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • You violate these terms repeatedly
  • Your content breaks platform rules or laws
  • You try to harm our service or other users
  • Your payment fails and you don't update it

We'll always try to work things out first. If we do need to terminate an account, we'll give you notice and a chance to export your data.

Updating These Terms

Sometimes we need to update these terms. When we do:

  • We'll email you about significant changes
  • We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top
  • You'll have 30 days to review changes before they take effect
  • If you don't like the changes, you can cancel before they take effect

We'll never make changes that hurt your existing rights without giving you proper notice.

Resolving Disagreements

If something goes wrong, let's talk it out! Here's our process:
