A Tweet is a message or post that people share on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. You can say quite a bit within the 280-character limit, and people often stretch that limit by using images, videos, and other multimedia supplements. These messages can be seen by billions of people all over the world.

That's the real power of the Tweet: It's public by default, and it can be engaged with—revealing quite a bit about human nature in the process. In Replying or Reposting (which used to be called Retweeting before it was Rebranded), these are acts of Public Speech that are seen (and heard) by Digital Billions in the act of Discourse that is seen as American Society and Politics.
