Trends around emojis refer to patterns or popular usages of specific emojis over time on social media platforms. They highlight ongoing shifts in our cultural, emotional, or conversational shorthand with each other—especially between generations—that more often than not are influenced by current events, internet memes, and ubiquitous pop moments we all share.
