A partnership or joint effort between two or more individuals, brands, influencers, creators, or organizations in the sphere of social media allows for the creation of content that is often aimed at increasing visibility and engagement across platforms. Within this context, a 'collab,' short for collaboration, seems to have very few limits: co-creating a video; co-hosting a live stream; partnering for giveaways; appearing in each other's content; or working on some shared campaign, for instance. Most significant, perhaps, is the very basic premise upon which a collab rests.
